While researching the genocide of Hindus in Bengal for #TheDelhiFiles, I came across police records where well-known and hardcore criminals of the Muslim League were listed under names like Bhola, Shankar, Vishva, Rama, Guddu, Prahlad, Ganesh, and Raju. This was done to put the blame on Hindus.

Even in Mumbai, after the 1993 riots, Muslim criminals and underworld figures began carrying IDs with names like Ganesha, Bhola, Vishnu, Shankar etc.

During the 26/11 massacre by Pakistani terrorists, they also disguised themselves as Hindus.

In Islam, this strategy is called Al-Taqiya, meaning to fool the enemy. Quite understandable.

Al-Taqiya has been loosely practised by #UrbanNaxals as their war strategy against the Indian state.

But why do Hindus need to use Al-Taqiya? Have Hindus become enemies of Hindus? Or have the wannabe secularists adopted Al-Taqiya as their narrative strategy?
