This year on tour there were 40,845 tee shots, with driver, with a valid radar measurement.

BALL SPEED DATA:
0.3% of tee shots were faster than 190
2.5% were faster than 185
12.3% were faster than 180

36.6% were slower than 170
12.6% were slower than 165
3.0% were slower than 160

Ball speeds under 165 happened more often than balls speeds 180+

Ball speeds under 160 happened more often than balls speeds 185+

One out of every 322 tee shots has a ball speed of 190 or faster.

Repetition is the mother of skill.
