Super excited to share our study that uncovers ETV6 as a key growth dependency in Ewing sarcoma! Huge thanks to our amazing co-authors @Xueyan_He@megeblad @Xiaoli_Sky_Wu @jonipsaro@leemorj@pkoo562 @KMBaileylab, and my super PI @ChrisVakoc https://t.co/NhDxLucTRf
Sky Wu (吴小丽) @xlw1207 was such a joy to work with on this project. I can't say enough good things about her. Smart, well-rounded, hard working, and fun. A Nature paper and a newly-minted Ph.D! Way to go!

@RiccardoGuidi87 2. In P19 (mouse) and OSS (fly germline), the eCLIP protocol has a mild RNase treatment in addition to bioruptor shearing, so that may have fragmented things enough to help with sequencing. Again, if anything, we expect our already huge enrichment to be an underestimate
@RiccardoGuidi87 Hey, sir! Good to hear from you!
So there were a couple of contexts.
1. Recombinant xpsn in Sf9 with our protein - Used a commercial sRNA seq kit. We were shocked at how abundant the tRNA reads were and, because of the tRNA structure, it is probably an underestimate 😱
Had some fantastic interactions presenting at the University of Utah’s RNA interest group! Thanks to @BassLabUtah’s Helen for the smooth planning! Good times!
