@abhijitmajumder@ShashiTharoor This was something I always believed but to hear it from a neutral voice makes it weirdly more authentic than any autobiography.
@itsmeKarikaalan @CivitasSameer@grok@CIVITAS What I enjoyed on this thread more than the actual debate is how Grok played an interesting role in defusing the situation with a neutral factual source. Both sides tried to find gaps, but the truth, although murky and debated, Grok brought collective data with no time lag.
@uxdesigncc Is just taste going to supersede formal design tools. Wisdom in design though, that I don’t think can be replaced. Specially when you take very nuanced understanding of a very specific thing, hard to describe it for an ai to understand.
@peternixey I was hoping it was a little teaching moment. Histogram is a frequency distribution with the x axis and y axis being numerical, while a bar chart is counts across categories on x axis :)
@allenholub The data point of conversations being less than 5 minutes long is what I loved. Indicating people are very quickly getting together, discussing, resolving moving on. No need for long meetings.
@allenholub I just looked at spatial chat, gather seems a little nicer. I was able to interact with people minus scheduling meetings, just virtually walk over and connect. Not perfect but I felt a visible impact and people actually came back reporting a positive experience.
2. Melancholy, a sculpture created by Albert Gyorgy, portrays the void that grief leaves us with.
"We may look as if we carry on with our lives as before. We may even have times of joy and happiness. Everything may seem normal. But this emptiness is how we all feel… all the time." (John Maddox)
@GaryMarcus Just curious why dependence on prior time completed is taken for granted. You can get hit by a truck the minute you get in or eight hours later. An edge case should appear independent of duration of trip. However for a population of drivers, I could say for x hours, y events.
What India is accomplishing in space – especially in Lunar exploration – is astonishing.
We hosted @isro's Chairman, Dr. S. Somanath at ESA Council today. It was a milestone occasion for Delegates to learn more about current and future plans for ESA-ISRO cooperation. The strategic importance of strengthening ties and deepening cooperation with international partners cannot be underestimated.

@iamkrishradha I’d add one more metric, the median development irrespective of private/govt. So if your question can be expanded to include the region in reference to the population, it would be obvious.
1/ In this thread we'll take a brief primer on the hottest, fiercest part of humanity's most perfect heat engine: The gas turbine engine. The magical beast that powers us to sunny places on holiday.
@Jordan_W_Taylor Loved your thread! Could you point me to resources to assess a turbine blade condition of a running engine where you don’t have the liberty to open it up. What are typical sensors or data that is part of telemetry that can shed light on this?
