Agni-6 missile test likely from Chandipur ITR; over 11,000 residents evacuated as precaution

Authorities in Odisha’s Balasore district have evacuated more than 11,000 residents ahead of a crucial missile test likely to be conducted from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur.

As part of standard safety protocols, the district administration launched a large-scale evacuation drive in villages located within a radius of 1 km to 3.5 km of the launch complex. Residents, along with their domestic animals, are being temporarily relocated until the completion of the test.
