Super MOM
@kevin_wolgemuth I tell my class of 2023 they are my guinea pigs, I try everything out on them and they let me know if the tool was good or bad, with feedback to progress to another. It's nice to have a smaller group this year, it has been perfect for my first year teaching.
@BlakeMusicTeach I completely agree, they compliment each other so well. They each have different components to getting the material across in a student centered fashion.
@MsMachlis Both, tool & toy. Educators that use unique approaches to integrate technology has opened up a whole new reality to receiving data. It creates a fun approach to learning and when students are having fun, the learning is more natural or absorbed. #wuedt6020
@AtenOlivia@slynchmed@EdTechLaura I incorporate a bit of both as well. I lecture new material and then incorporate edtech as a way to follow up the information, through homework assignments or project presentations. #wuedt6020
@khainsey22 I combine YouTube videos in each lecture to drive home the material that is more difficult to grasp or where one could benefit from a visual representation. I also integrate Near pod assignments as Ch. reviews to see strengths and weaknesses of the material. #wuedt6020
@jacalynj11 funny, I just completed my instructional screencast and it was math equations. I will have to check out Desmos, thanks for the feedback. #wuedt6020
The pandemic has increased the creativity within educators. Having to teach from home on a computer screen has created a wave of creativity in learning how to engage students with necessary material. #wuedt6020
@ChallburgTeach@McCoolWILMu "Engaging media and formative assessments to make every lesson interactive. You'll wonder how you taught without it!" #Nearpod. I am now following Nearpod on Twitter the link below has info regarding Nearpod activities. #wuedt6020

@ChallburgTeach@McCoolWILMu I❤️Nearpod as my favorite Web 2.0 tool. The site is user friendly & has interactive games/slides throughout the lesson. I use this tool for homework assignments to assess the students strengths and weaknesses of the material/lecture. #wuedt6020
@SchafflerCHS@khainsey22@EdTechLaura I had my students create a screencast to deliver a medical ethics presentation last semester and the feedback was all positive. Screencasts are just one option to deliver information in a new non-traditional manner.
@GregWilmU@EdTechLaura I completely agree. I instruct with a mixture of lessons. I do still lecture but try to follow the lecture up with interactive or collaborative activities. It helps me, as a new educator, to grasp the information better, it does the same for my students.
The graph shows results; With the flipped classroom, or blended learning, students have the accessibility to do work at their own pace, collaborate with peers, and have the time and opportunity to research in a greater depth. #wuedt6020@EdTechLaura
@KThomasWDC@kevin_wolgemuth I have logged into Blooklet as well. They have Radiography quizzes I can use for the beginning of the semester in the program. Thanks for the innovative resource.
@jacalynj11@MichelleDech3@EdTechLaura@McCoolWILMu The Radiography Program is a small program within RCSJ. We have the freedom to instruct as we deem appropriate. I tend to flip a few chapters within a specified course. It's the change up of learning that I believe keeps the students involved.
