A satirical Japanese religion called "Motohiro to People (MtoP)" exists only to give people a reason to say "no" because of "religious reasons" to get out of things they don't want to do.

Founded in 2018 by 19-year-old college student Motohiro Hisano. it exists as a form of social critique against Japan's demanding work culture, specifically designed to exploit a cultural loophole.

Because freedom of religion is constitutionally protected and religious matters are rarely questioned in Japanese professional settings, MtoP provides workers with a legally and socially bulletproof excuse to say "no" to unwanted obligations for "religious reasons".
