Three-time slackline world champion @JaanRoose took to the skies 120 metres above the South Korean capital today.

During an earlier visit to South Korea, Roose also encountered jultagi – Korea’s traditional tightrope walking, inscribed on @UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

This is insulting. As a State Department official, I took an oath in that building, with my hand on a Bible, to serve my country, as do all @StateDept officers. They are some of the most patriotic people I've ever met. No one I ever knew working there needed a "reminder."

It's also demoralizing if it's a stunt to fight alleged clientelism. What was Rubio thinking? Leaders are supposed to inspire their employees, not ridicule them.

#OTD, 32 years ago, the last Soviet troops left Estonia 🇪🇪, closing five decades of occupation and opening the way for us to fully restore our independence and rebuild our state on our own terms.

Three decades later, Russia’s imperial ambitions persist. Its full‑scale aggression against Ukraine is now in its fifth year. Moscow is once again seeking to redraw borders by force and undermine the foundations of international law.

Freedom is never automatic. It requires protection, purpose, and resolve.

As Ukraine defends its sovereignty and the security of all of Europe, our responsibility is to stand with them until Russia is back within its internationally recognised borders.
