Did you know that when an inmate on death row is euthanized by lethal injection they use potassium chloride but they also use an anesthetic and paralyzing agent to ease the pain of the potassium chloride. If they didn’t do that the person would feel themselves being burned alive from the inside…so it is a bit of mercy.
