David Friedberg: Immigration status should be given to Makers, not Takers
"If the primary motivation for an individual to come to this country is to be given benefits, payments, social services, support, I think that that person should be denied immigration.
If the primary motivation for the individual to come to the United States is to work to progress themselves, become a maker, create things, work in such a way that they can generate income, save capital, buy things, advance their family's position, because they are denied those rights due to the tyranny of the place that they're coming from, then they should be granted immigration status to come to this country and contribute.
The fundamental truth is that anyone that is productive, meaning they create more value than they take in, grows the economy, and more jobs get created, and overall we all benefit from having those individuals here in this country.
That is what the United States is based on, which is productivity, work hard, create things, and have individual agency, have the ability to progress yourself in this world, in this society, and if you take advantage of that opportunity, you're going to love the American ideals that this country was founded upon."
@SecKennedy@epaleezeldin@EPA Can you do something about them spraying the skies with poison!? And don’t tell me it’s condensation because that’s a load of bologna!
The old term “woke” used to mean someone realized exactly what Theo Von said here.
The term was hijacked to now be associated with social justice nonsense.
But this is what waking up meant in 2016.
We need more people to wake up.
Does anyone else find it odd that whenever it's a sunny day but the weather report says that it's going to be cloudy a bunch of planes go up and start leaving “contrails” all over the sky?
Just a few hours ago it was completely sunny but the weather report said that it's going to be cloudy.
I look up and I see at least 10 planes spraying or leaving “contrails” all over the sky.
Those contrails started turning into something that looks like a cloud but after around an hour or so they went away but don't worry around 15 other planes were ready to go right back up…
