@playdate@panic my Playdate from batch 3 was DOA and has been charging for days now and still won't turn on. I sent a support ticket 10 days ago and am still waiting to see something in response.
@Tailscale I’d recommend mentioning that the SSH feature uses a PAM service named “remote” in your troubleshooting docs. I spent about two hours trying to debug why it wasn’t working on Arch before I realized the default PAM config denies in Arch Linux.
@ChiPublicHealth we want to get our under five children vaccinated but Lurie says “For information on vaccines for children younger than under 5 years old, we await additional guidance from public health officials.” When can we expect guidance?
Now that people are talking about buying I Bonds from the US Government because of the 9.62% interest. It is a good time to bring up again that https://t.co/VODrsHnBJT has one of the most insane login flows I’ve ever seen.
Some people might say that the TV show #Severance is unrealistic. But, a company that is advanced enough to develop sensors to detect covert writing and still forgets to deactivate the badge of a dead employee is very realistic.
@AlyssaM_InfoSec My concern would be around reducing duplication and having oversight since the board will typically go to the CISO for the report on the overall risk posture.
@AlyssaM_InfoSec I am never one to turn down more people and budget focused on reducing infosec risk. As long as it is in coordination with the CISO, I’d probably be interested. It isn’t often BUs want to fund something handled by a centralized team.
@hacks4pancakes When I coached high school robotics we’d use temporary colored hair spray to show team spirit but also to identify which kids didn’t shower
@Tailscale is https://t.co/bXHaCE3Wio functioning? I've invited it to my account and can see it in the admin panel as an external machine. However, it doesn't resolve on any device and the IP is unreachable.
Okta really did go from being one of the most trusted brands in security to a major case study in how not to handle incident response in less than a full day
I feel like we need to be moving faster on getting critical code into memory-safe languages. This bug is crazy https://t.co/6Es6mpwg59, and the fix is really disappointing https://t.co/eYJ9EuM0li.
@katelynjperry Welcome to the hobby. Be careful not to dive off the deep end like I did. It’s a frustrating hobby at times but it can be super rewarding.
Seeing the progress with IPv6 native workloads on AWS from https://t.co/01Q77AtUup reminds me that @RCNconnects still doesn't support IPv6 over a decade after Comcast has it rolled out. On the flip side my phone has been IPv6 native for years.
