Being the biggest NIMBYs in America truly made San Francisco an affordability leader. Thanks for all your great work encouraging processes that block all housing for 40 years @48hills@timredmondsf@supermarke.
You truly made SF a wonderful place for renters.
@GrowSF This is what he wants. Let the state takeover local housing decisions and control.
Then, he’ll leverage any local pushback regionally and statewide for a CA ballot measure to reverse the last 10+ years of housing leg and production mandates.
@Sr_Lazarus@sfbos@California_HCD The point is stall rezoning so builder’s remedy comes into effect.
Use picturesque SF as the example of “what went wrong,” then plow ahead w/a statewide anti-housing measure.
@ArleighFrisco@WestsideAsians@garrytan@eshear Wholeheartedly agree. While the Great Highway remains in the coastal zone and under state jurisdiction, road changes req. the city to weigh in. Valencia and Hayes are entirely locally controlled, so blame your local electeds on this one.
@wendythecutter@WestsideAsians@JoelEngardio Get a grip.
There’s no gridlock.
Where’s the evidence with parents struggling with school drop off’s.
Who’s thinking of moving? Property values are rising, and local schools are highly rated.
Sunset Dunes got a baseless challenge by a law firm acting out of their league.
@IrishBridgetSF It lets the city start planning for a park. . . which is how all park planning, design, and budgeting processes start.
Once the city starts the process, it has to get permits to close the road.
I gave public comment asking the SFBOS to pass the bill by November 25. As I walked back to my seat from, Eric Brooks hissed at me that I'm a "disgusting prick." Nice guy!
@TimLefkowicz@JoelEngardio Even this takes work!

@JayneP2022 @jason61987@US_Stormwatch Atmospheric rivers from Hawaii are Pineapple Expresses; atmospheric rivers spanning the Pacific (generally from the Philippine Sea), are called Mango Expresses.
@zachklein Errr, not yet. That line item refers to the um . . . Cost Estimator who assists the Architect by forecasting labor and material costs as design details become final. This rough budget probs only cost $500. Still appalling tho 🤦♂️.
