She reportedly told everyone that her husband had gone to Dehradun for work. But when villagers became suspicious and the ground was dug up, his body was found buried in a pit.

The wife is accused of conspiring with her alleged lover to k!ll her husband, hide the body and create a false story to cover the crime.

This was not just betrayal. It was an alleged plan to erase a husband as if his life had no value.
