@bphillipsonMP Unfortunately under 3's with complex needs can't thrive due to discriminative government policy making government funded early education & childcare inaccessible https://t.co/1csCt28rJe
@ReformUKKent This is what's happening, quietly, under the carpet in #kent Government funded chikdcare is inaccessible to children with complex needs. https://t.co/iNbu0nC3gu
Being ripped off by @amazon Who say leaving by the public pathways is a secure place to deliver a £600 phone. After saying they were refunding have now decided not to refund and are refusing to communicate.
@catherineroyuk I was told by @EKHUFT@EKHUFTMaternity that consent is a fairly new concept and many practitioners don’t understand it yet when I tried to report several vaginal examinations, a rectal examination, an injection & episiotomy without consent!!
Pregnancy after loss is checking your toilet paper multiple times. It’s taking many tests and comparing the lines. It’s having a scan and being unable to look at the screen. It’s wondering if you’ll ever bring a baby home. It’s worry. It’s heartache. It’s hope. #pal
People who have never worked in the NHS, and never been harmed or cheated by the NHS, seem to be experts at how it operates, and disagree with those victims who are critical of it.
Sort of "back seat drivers" of everyone else's experience and knowledge.
They're soooooo clever!
@howlett_leanne There is a huge gap between what most medical professionals understand of consent, what the laws & policies state & what patients are actually experiencing. Consent is a huge issue which most acknowledge but few are willing to tackle x
“It will be okay this time” is not helpful to hear during pregnancy after loss. You can’t promise that. Instead, welcome all emotions. #pregnancyafterloss
@DrFeeleyRM@GibbleJo@SandallJane@ProfMcCourt@ProfJennyGamble Absolutely agree, we had to go private in order to have homebirths but if we couldn’t have done this we would have had no chance of a positive experience with the NHS, midwives themselves made this so clear.
Imagine a cafe with multiple breaches of food hygiene regs, it’s closed down until it has put in place steps to meet the regs. Now Leicester maternity units have been rated as inadequate for safety, are they still open for business? Yup. This. Is. Terrifying.
