reading through things on here really shows how ignorant and entitled people are… members of my family are linemen and have gone in to work in this sweltering heat to get everyone back on but heaven forbid a repair be complicated or take time 🙄 thank you for your hard work tonight!

@thendhorsegirl Insulated bib overalls over leggings/my winter breeches for chores of all descriptions, and then freeze my bum off for the first 10 minutes of riding inside. Hacking/trail rides is putting a cooler over my tack to protect it and wearing the bibs then too 😅

@awkpferd Here’s my hand, and as a vet assistant, it’s so much kinder to pick a nice sunny day than to have to find them in crisis. Making this choice is the final kindness, and the opposite of selfish ❤️

@IA_rider Good than bad, awesome. If you see that he has more bad than good, that is the time to have a discussion with your vet. Sorry to ramble, I’ve been having this internal discussion for months 😅

@IA_rider It’s not his time yet. And you might look at him in three months and reach a different decision. Some discomfort for the farrier occasionally doesn’t outweigh his good number of goods days. If you look at him every day for a month and see that he has more-
