@itsjustamar Definitely true for Canadians and French people. Shared language and cultural heritage + some shared values/traits (e.g. adventurous, openness to new experiences/people, etc.). I think nomads/immigrants/expats are extra open to meeting people if they’re new in town.

@itsjustamar Yeahhhhh that definitely happens... so in France if it's herbal they called it "une tisane" and if it's real tea (green or black) it's "thé." So you can try asking for "thé vert" or specify that you don't want "une tisane." - signed, a French-speaking tea drinker.
