It's not about land grabs. It's not about lithium. It's not about caring about victims of a storm.

The outrageous misinformation and disinformation running absolutely rampant right now is about one thing.

This is a systematic dismantling of public trust in the concept of American Democracy. Maga leaders aren't just pushing this stuff to solely make democrats look bad or ppl's faith in the party. But the whole concept of American democracy itself. That it's broken. Our institutions, broken. Government, broken.

And it's coming from the republican party. Trumpism has poisoned the republican party and it is sick and dying. It's like a zombie drug taking over their brains. Blame everyone for why the government doesn't work while it's them who are actively making our institutions futile.

All Maga does is sow discontent and distrust in our country. There is no path forward. There is no growth, benefits, or well-being of our ppl. They are dismantling the belief that holds us together simply for power.

They will use anyone and step on anyone. They will use any situation, any crisis, and person to achieve goals. Look at how many ppl Trump has used, then dropped. One day Trump says a particular someone is the best and when they are no longer useful or step out of line, he drops them.

This is what fascist movements look like. In virtually every liberal democracy that's turned authoritarian/fascist its because these ppl use middle and lower class economic anxiety and flood the conscious mind with non-stop, fear, propaganda, conspiracy, and distrust It's what Steve Bannon calls, "flooding the zone with shit." Or what nazi Albert Speer in Germany called, "a technical means of domination."

And after they get you spinning because you really dont understand how the world around you works. They give you an enemy to unite against as they solidify power over you.

There is a disease in the republican party and it will stop at nothing to achieve its power.

These ppl will burn the country to the ground just to rule over the ashes.

I am disgusted beyond belief that a Vietnam veteran would give the Purple heart he was awarded to that draft evading POS trump. It is disgraceful. trump bought his way out of Vietnam because he was a coward. This veteran has no right to give this symbol of honor and sacrifice to the most dishonorable man ever to serve as president. This is not a prize found in the bottom of a Cracker jack's box and trump, who has no honor, can never wear or display this badge of sacrifice.
