Claudia Sheinbaum has approval ratings of between 70 and 80%, thanks to her progressive policies which have lifted over 8 million people out of poverty.
So of course the @NYTimes finds some reason to attack her.
They hate her because she shows what can be done.
At the risk of taking any of this seriously, why would AIPAC fear a candidate who only started expressing concern about Gaza in March, 2025 and began supporting anti-genocide activists two weeks ago? I'd say you're exactly who they'd like if Weiner were to lose.
notice that this completely went over the head of @TrackAIPAC until Ryan Grim reported it
That's why @TrackAIPAC isn't being transparent about their methodology — because it's full of holes.
every single one of their claims for every candidate is missing information
@corbintrent@saikatc What is obvious to me is that this fucking thing came out two days before the election. It makes Connie look bad even though she is Pro Palestine. Saikat is hyping it, Ryan Grim is hyping it. It helps Saikat. Chan didn’t have any hand in it.
@ryangrim@katewillett They’re wrong.
Connie Chan has been elected as supervisor twice despite lots of money spent to defeat her & has the support of most progressive groups, politicians, & labor unions.

People in SF get a different Saikat than the rest of the country, I'm sorry to say. You get the next coming of FDR or some shit, we get a guy who celebrated the moderate takeover of SF's Democratic Party. When asked why he gave money AFTER they won this, he couldn't answer.
Saikat donated to unseat the most progressive member of the Board of Supervisors.
He has zero support from progressive local elected officials
He has zero support from local organized labor.
No matter what hyper online leftist commentariat says, he is not the answer for SF.
One thing you shouldn’t do is accept San Francisco political critiques from a “comic” in Astoria, Queens who looks like David Cross emerging from Ed Sheeran’s pubes, tho.
@OrangeFreddyG except even the hack (ryan grim) that "broke" the story has admitted its not true. but good job falling for the AIPAC propaganda. they're using their own toxic reputation to hurt the one candidate they dont support
Sat down with @mattxiv to discuss AIPAC, AI and the crypto lobby, and why they're doing everything they can to hide their donations. They are all are toxic and we need to get rid of their influence in our government completely. In Congress, that's exactly what I'll do.
Here's a statement from Connie Chan on this ridiculous last minute smear campaign by Saikat Chakrabarti.
This is so dirty.
And really belies how real activism can be captured and subverted. This guy is manufacturing Zionist conspiracy theories against critics of Israel.
Propaganda technique; what he did here is write a sensational headline unsupported by facts in a story, then hand it off to an influencer and PAC network to boost and embellish.
The real story here is that it's using Drop Site's brand for disinformation, and campaign comms.
@uspolitics1111 here ill help you: AIPAC doesnt support her. even the hack that "broke" the story has admitted it. they support the other 2 and are using their own horrible reputation to try and smear the only progressive in the race. hope that helps
