Nowadays nawezaamka 6am nifanye kazi like my campus days pale Soweto hostels KNH, I thank God.

A few months ago hizi ndizo masaa nilikuwa nafika home. Drunk like a fish. Madem wamejaza gari wanapiga kelele. With my “friends” wenye wamewateka.

Because I live with politicians & diplomats as neighbors, I was issued with a notice haraka upesi. “Change ama tukuhamishe”.

That’s when I knew I had hit rock bottom.

Pombe ilikuwa inataka kunitoa kwa my dream home. 4bedroom nilihamia Lavington because of my siblings.

This is when I remembered what mattered and what did not. I had chosen to make money because of my FAMILY. They are my everything.

I couldn’t allow alcohol ruin my goals anymore. I had to find a way out.
