Introducing Modular Wallets, a new, customizable infrastructure that gives developers greater control over their app experience—available now for @arbitrum and @0xPolygon PoS.
Programmable Wallets just got more programmable.
Unlike User- and Developer-Controlled Wallets that offer fully managed wallet infrastructure, Modular Wallets allows developers to customize their app development in an à la carte way.
Key features:
✅ Flexible key management for customizable security
✅ Indexing service for efficient data retrieval
✅ Passkey support for a seamless user experience
At Circle, we believe in the power of openness and interoperability.
Last year, we announced our co-authorship of ERC-6900 with industry leaders such as @Alchemy, @TrustWallet, @Quantstamp and @ethereumfndn. Modular Wallets allows developers to participate in, grow with, and benefit from this emerging ecosystem.

A thread 🧵
This is an important problem. Let's come to consensus on a common way for smart contract accounts to compose and validate transparent and secure signatures. Join the discussion (TG link in thread below)
There's a problem with ERC1271 signatures for smart contract accounts.
Without a good ERC1271 implementation for smart accounts, it will be difficult for dapps to show users what they’re signing.
We’re launching a working group for this problem. TG link below ⬇️
We’ve noticed there have been many misconceptions around modular account standards, and wanted to highlight some of the latest thinking there: https://t.co/q6AEs4LQEU.
