Your figures need a correction… but more importantly, you’re missing the point.

Yes, Sindh is Pakistan’s largest gas producer, while Pashtunkhwa produces roughly 10–15% and Balochistan’s share is generally in the 14–21% range in recent data. Nobody is disputing that.

The question is: what does Balochistan actually receive from the gas produced from its own wellheads?

Article 158 of Pakistan’s Constitution is crystal clear:

“The Province in which a well-head of natural gas is situated shall have precedence over other parts of Pakistan…”

That means the gas-producing province has constitutional priority in meeting its requirements from that wellhead before supply to other parts. (Constitute Project)

So the issue isn’t “Who produces the most gas?”

The issue is why does a gas-producing land like Balochistan still face chronic shortages and limited access to its own natural resources?

If Quetta gets gas for only a few hours a day while Balochistan’s resources continue to supply the rest of Pakistan, then asking “what is Balochistan’s problem?” isn’t ignorance.

That IS the problem.

Know the difference between production, distribution and constitutional entitlement before arguing with me. 😏

We welcome the statement by UN experts condemning the life sentence against Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sibghatullah Shah Ji and calling the judgment a grave injustice and a travesty of justice. Pakistani soldiers, many from poor families with no say in policy, are being killed in large numbers while one stubborn military command in GHQ keeps doubling down on failed wars, failed doctrines, and failed narratives.
