Interestingly in #squadbusters by @supercell there's no context for the exact current date
- so the base #UI doesn't need detailed updating
- and updates can be #automated with some random probability in the mix
- change only when needed for #liveops
When we're enjoying something we can get anxious when it's going to end..
..worried that we won't enjoy life after? 🤔
The butt in life is we can't say anything for certain
So even if you look ahead or behind
...to imagine and learn...
Fully live the moment you are in.
Life is about making choices, some difficult & some easy! Choosing an AMD Ryzen powered laptop has been the easiest of them all.
With this I could Take On Everything!
This Women’s Day, come celebrate your choices & celebrate YOU!

Nobody Knows For Certain by Afrah Shafiq - a gorgeous playable archive of children's book from the Soviet Union.
The stories are remixed to explore the relationship between India and the USSR, Slavic folklore and marxism.

In the short/medium term, Unity will likely see a healthy rise in ARPU. Perhaps Unity will extend the implementation timeline so devs have time to determine impact
Meanwhile, founders building next-gen game engines (cloud and/or AI-native) found some new wind in their sails 🏁
After the drama around @unity I tried to do the maths. I retake the file from @StoneGolemStud but I used the different levels of fees for Unity Pro customers (you can check their pricing table)
At the end it seems that Unity peforms pretty well.

I stand by @unity Let's not jump to conclusions and look at cold hard numbers.
Then appreciate the X years weve been using the software for free. 99% of people will continue to use for free.
Then remember, that if Unity doesn't make enough, they shut down sure you can still use their service but online services and support shutdown. No new features. 10000s of online games offline.
All because we didn't want to give back to a great software that asked for basically nothing. Not to mention, look at those @UnrealEngine numbers at a 5% royalty.
Nobodies trust was broken. Their old system didn't work and were bleeding money. A smart business would pivot while still thinking of the little guys, which they have. 200k free a year? If you aren't happy with this, i'm afraid all hope is lost.
Let's make informed decisions before shaming people for thinking a certain way and be grateful for the amazing software and service we get from unity everyday.

Seeing a lot of confusion about @unitygames' new install fees. They have really screwed up by labeling it a "monthly rate."
Surprise fees are awful, but for any other indie devs this gave an unwelcome heart attack to, here's some things you should know. 👇🧵 #GameDev

The #Gameboy Beta (with lots of new content) is almost ready for release, bar final testing/polish and some cut scenes creating.
