@JCPolancoNYC What about the many many many more Democrats who do not vote in the June Primary? What does Open Primary do for them? Let me guess… nothing.
@nicolegelinas I supported Reynoso. He lost fair and square. But he’s not a loser. Losers get a shellacking in the primaries then go run again in the general.
Fortunately, this ICE incident at the polls didn’t cause a lengthy disruption to voting, but it could have ⚖️🗳️
That’s why it’s critical that @GovKathyHochul sign Sen @agounardes’ Time Extender for Significant Disruptions Bill (S4602B) in time for the Midterms.
@timerube@CryptoRodsZ Zohran endorsed Clair and Brad months ago. In like January. Why did he wait until end of May to endorse Darializa? Did he endorse her only after she showed a likelihood of winning?
@ShabazzStuart@ridestheq46 The issue is that DSA's perceived culture is not welcoming/inclusive. This is reinforced by some of the comments made since Tuesday, even after allowing for excitement from the win. People of color can smell the sense of superiority that emanates from your volunteers/members.
@ShabazzStuart I’m Black, have a postgraduate degree, and am progressive. I worked with DSA electeds. I tried to start a chat with a DSA volunteer Tuesday, but they acted like in a cult, avoiding outsiders. What a turnoff! Without changing your culture, you'll remain largely white.
@LostDiva@NomikiKonst AG James’s critical report was the trigger for Cuomo’s resignation. She actively supported Mamdani for mayor during both the primary and general elections. It’s odd to see these shallow anti-James comments; they resemble a cult-like mindset.
