The reported use of state force against peaceful and unarmed demonstrators in Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir, resulting in fatalities, constitutes a grave violation of international human rights norms and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Furthermore, the targeting of ambulances and medical personnel is a serious breach of humanitarian principles and international law.
We appeal to international human rights organizations to play a decisive role in stopping the bloodshed in Azad Kashmir.

Shaukat Nawaz Mir was arrested on 30 June 2026 and has still never been produced before a court.
The question is simple: if his health is stable, why was he not produced before the court today?
And if there are genuine medical concerns, why have his medical report and current condition not been disclosed, and why has his family not been allowed access to him?
After seven weeks in custody without being produced before a court, the authorities must immediately clarify his condition and whereabouts, allow family and legal access, and produce him before the court.

Kashmiris currently detained in Islamabad were due to be produced before the court today, but they were not presented.
The authorities must explain: Why were the detainees not produced before the court as scheduled? Where are they being held, and what is their current condition?
Their families and lawyers deserve answers, and their legal and due-process rights must be respected.

Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and dozens of Kashmiri students and activists were arrested for speaking out against state repression in Kashmir and leading the July 31 Azad Kashmir Solidarity Rally.
Senator Mushtaq is now on Day 7 of an indefinite hunger strike, demanding the immediate and unconditional release of all detainees and an end to state oppression in Kashmir.

“ڈرون حملوں اور فوجی آپریشنز سے دہشتگردی بڑھتی ہے۔ ان آپریشنز کو نہ عوام کی حمایت حاصل ہے، نہ عوامی نمائندوں کی اور نہ ہی سیاسی جماعتوں کی تو ایسا آپریشن کیسے کامیاب ہو سکتا ہے۔

عاصم منیر کو اپنے ملک کے مفادات کی رتی برابر بھی پرواہ نہیں ہے۔ یہ جو کچھ کر رہا ہے، محض مغربی دنیا کی خوشنودی کے لیے کر رہا ہے۔ اس شخص نے اپنے ذاتی مفاد کے لیے ملک کو دہشتگردی کی بھینٹ چڑھا دیا ہے۔

عاصم منیر کی پالیسیاں اس ملک کے لیے تباہ کن ہیں۔ اس کی پالیسیوں کی وجہ سے ہر جانب ہمارے ہی لوگ شہید ہو رہے ہیں۔ پولیس اہلکار، فوجی اور عام بے گناہ لوگ جو شہید ہو رہے ہیں سب ہمارے اپنے ہیں۔

تاریخ سے ثابت ہے کہ صرف ملٹری آپریشنز دہشتگردی کا حل نہیں ہیں۔ “کولیٹرل ڈیمج” کے نام پر معصوم لوگ شہید ہوتے ہیں، اور وہ اپنے علاقوں سے دربدر ہوتے ہیں۔ کئی دہائیوں سے بڑے بڑے آپریشن کر کے دہشتگردی ختم کرنے کی کوشش میں ہیں مگر یہ ناسور ختم نہیں ہو رہا۔ ہر سال بہت سا قیمتی خون بہہ رہا ہے، کبھی فوج اور پولیس فورسز کے اہلکاروں کی شہادتیں ہوتی ہیں تو کبھی معصوم شہری دہشتگردی کے واقعات میں جان کی بازی ہار جاتے ہیں۔

دہشتگردی کے مکمل خاتمے کے لیے بند کمروں کے فیصلوں کی بجائے ایک موثر، سیاسی بصیرت پر مبنی جامع حکمت عملی کی ضرورت ہے۔

تاریخ سے ثابت ہے کہ ڈکٹیٹرز کبھی بھی امن نہیں لاسکتے۔ کیونکہ ملٹری ڈکٹیٹرز کو Military Solution کے علاوہ کوئی حل نظر نہیں آتا۔ لہذا یہ سیاستدانوں کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ معاملہ فہمی سے ملک میں دیرپا امن کا قیام یقینی بنائیں۔ فارم 47 کی جعلی حکومت کا نہ ہی استحقاق ہے اور نہ اہلیت کہ وہ قیامِ امن میں مؤثر کردار ادا کرسکے۔”
