Today, @WHOGAMBIA is hosting a dialogue as it develops its next Country Cooperation Strategy in The #Gambia 🇬🇲 to support the health sector.
This dialogue is part of a process seeking to ensure the identified priorities are aligned to the country Green & Recovery Focused #NDP.
Today, @WHO will turn 75.
Join us on a journey to celebrate #WHO75 anniversary and the work being done globally to deliver #HealthForAll people, everywhere - including here in The #Gambia.
#WorldHealthDay
World Health Day reminds us of the great partnership the #Gambia enjoys with WHO to improve public health services. I wish #WHO75 a joyous celebration on its noble journey to providing #HealthForAll people. @WHOGAMBIA
This week the COVID-19 Vaccine Delivery Partnership (@UNICEF@WHO@GAVI) is undertaking a high-level mission to Gambia. We will discuss progress made to date and what support is needed to reach all high-priority groups with lifesaving #COVID19 vaccines.
In yet another showcase of @WHO continued support to @MohGambia, Dr. Kassa representing @WHOGAMBIA, makes opening remarks during the National Health Sector Strategic Plan ('21-'30) Validation Workshop. #Health4All
It is #WorldTBDay. Reducing poverty, better living conditions, identification & treatment of cases help. PHC and use of tech brings care closer to the poorer. The little Ai, I trained was able to 99.5% accurately identify x-rays with TB. 98.5% sensitive.
#ArtificialIntelligence
After assisting generous partners to effectively invest $1billion in Africa, after so many contracts and grants- my mind is now wandering in the NFT and Cryptocurrency space. #NFTartist can help improve public health. NGOs watch that space. #ArtificialIntelligence
@unisa Because all sorts of healthcare should get regulated as much as possible to protect users and ensure fair access to a quality care. That said, I am worried that ppl are excited more in regulating AI than supporting its development in health.
