I also really liked have such a set schedule every week! I was nervous for the Peerwise questions cause they seemed tedious, but I really enjoyed them every week! #prescottbiochemistry

The best part about this course was how methodical everything was. There was a set schedule and we stuck with it. I found the peerwise questions to be most helpful and was surprised at how effective they were at enforcing the material. Good Luck everyone! #prescottbiochemistry

The most challenging part of this course was having to self disciple myself to learn the material thoroughly. I learned time management, organization and productivity. Biocehm twitter has helped me network and get to know nearby biotech businesses!

When reading the syllabus I was pretty nervous about the weekly assignments with Peerwise & twitter but it’s become second nature. I’ve loved the “non traditional” teaching! It’s helped me have a better understanding of some concepts 🥳 #prescottbiochemistry

The correct answer is FADH2. The electrons that enter the cycle in Complex 1 come from NADH, whereas the electrons coming from Complex 2 come from FADH2. #prescottbiochemistry

I feel like one of my first memories from freshman biology was learning about the electron transport chain. We didn't really go deep into the details of it, so learning about all the different complexes and processes that happen is super interesting #prescottbiochemistry

@JamesRWilkes5 @khanacademy I looove Khan Academy! I think my high school algebra teacher even used Kham Academy to help explain some topics hahaha. They do such a great job at explaining topics and providing awesome examples! #prescottbiochemistry

A resource that has been my go-to since high school is quizlet! It’s available as a website and an app, which makes it super easy to study when I have some downtime at work. Searching key words pulls up sets made by people already🤓 #prescottbiochemistry

@Maggie3161 The use of hydroxychloroquine to treat covid19 is only partially confirmed & it’s not being looked at as a cure per say. As of now it’s just shown to reduce symptoms & speed up the recovery process #prescottbiochemistry
