Despicable. The guy that vetoed a multitude of tax cuts for Kentuckians is now pretending the Republican AG is standing in the way….
And @RCforAG isn’t doing it to score political points, but because it’s the right thing to do- which is not something @AndyBeshearKY can say.
Gov. @AndyBeshearKY declared a state of emergency to reduce the gas tax and help Kentuckians struggling with high prices at the pump.
The only person standing between you and lower gas prices is @RCforAG. Let’s hope he approves it and doesn’t block it to score political points.

🚨 Research shows repeated complaining physically rewires your brain to prioritize stress and negativity.
The way we speak about our daily challenges does more than just vent frustration; it physically alters the architecture of the brain.
When we engage in chronic complaining, we repeatedly activate neural networks responsible for detecting threats and processing stress.
Through the biological process of neuroplasticity, these circuits become stronger and more efficient every time they are used. Essentially, the brain learns to become more adept at finding things to be unhappy about, turning a temporary mood into a permanent biological predisposition toward negativity and fear-based thinking.
As these negative pathways become the brain's default setting, individuals often experience a measurable increase in baseline stress levels and emotional volatility. This heightened sensitivity means that even minor inconveniences can trigger an intense stress response because the brain has been conditioned to interpret the world through a lens of threat. Findings discussed by the Stanford University School of Medicine emphasize that while this mechanism is powerful, understanding the science of affective neuroscience is the first step in consciously redirecting those pathways toward more resilient emotional patterns.

Glad @kysenatepres is pushing back!
It’s not unbiased if the goal is to challenge something. You can do a study to EXAMINE the assumptions but if the GOAL IS TO CHALLENGE, you’re biased!
From the @KYLantern story: Ashley Wilmes, the executive director of Kentucky Resources Council, during a press briefing Thursday said her group wanted an “unbiased” study to challenge assumptions embedded in Kentucky laws passed in recent years “that moving forward with cleaner energy is more expensive and less dependable.”

@karol Prayer is action. For pain. For praise. For hope. For understanding. And for believers, it is one of the strongest actions we can take. Its not heartless, it’s heartFULLto ask God to take the wheel knowing that we can not stop sin and evil from existing #WhyIPray
I pray endlessly. Every morning, night, and in between. Conversations with God were never promised to be a fix, but they were promised to be a place of hope, peace, and understanding for the hurt we are going through in our earthly home. That's #WhyIPray and I'll never stop, in the good and in the bad.

Fentanyl has affected too many families in America. It was an honor to be at the @WhiteHouse today as @POTUS signed the bipartisan HALT FENTANYL Act into law.
Our bill classifies fentanyl related substances as Schedule I drugs, and gives law enforcement tools to stop this epidemic.
