@educator4ever36 No, I taught for six years and was an elementary school principal for 30 years. As long as you are willing to keep current with instructional practice that is research based, involve all stakeholders in the decision making process, and treat everyone with respect.

@lippyent As a 30 year elementary school principal, I say NO. Instead, teach manuscript writing with an emphasis on letter formation of upper and lowercase letters.
@Matt_Pinner As a 30 year elementary school principal, I would say no. Today, we don’t write as much as we text and use word processing. Students should instead be taught manuscript writing so they can learn correct letter formation for both upper and lowercase letters.
