No time in history do we have this extraordinary detection of asymptomatic infection since latter can transmit to others. So, please be assured that YOU ARE SAFE after vaccine from what matters - disease and spreading. Two vaccinated people can be as close as 2 spoons in drawer!
feeling v bummed about pandemic related things today, including my decision to cancel my trip home to AZ for Christmas. The safety of my family/community is important to me; I also really miss my family! That said, here’s my siblings and I looking festive and me looking..confused
With so many people facing economic desperation, Congress cannot recess until we pass a COVID-19 relief bill that includes at least $1,200 in direct payments for adults, $500 for kids, expanded unemployment benefits and emergency aid for states and cities to prevent mass layoffs.
I know “stay at home” as a blanket statement isn’t helpful for folks who have jobs that don’t allow for working from home and childcare etc. But I also know that gathering at friend’s houses or going to parties / indoor restaurants isn’t necessary so why not stop that?
Thanksgiving plans for changed for @katecohen92, as it has for many families.
#covid19 is surging. The entire country is a hotspot.
For many Americans, the best way we can give thanks for and to our loved ones is to not see them in person this Thanksgiving.
Agree with @asymmetricinfo: Don't gather this Thanksgiving.

Family celebrations over Thanksgiving could mean funerals by New Year's. Not worth it. Be careful. 2021 will be better, gradually, if we work together. Have a happy, socially connected, physically distant Thanksgiving.
Told my mom I’m not coming over for Thanksgiving. She cried and then told me my 4 and 5 year old cousins have COVID and possibly exposed up to 25 of my relatives. I can’t beg you all enough to stop gathering.
If you could see a #COVID19 patient struggling to breathe like we do in the ER, you’d immediately understand why we’re so worried and why it’s safest to cancel your in-person family meetups over the holidays.
Next year will be safer and we’d like all of you to be there for it.
With COVID cases rapidly increasing, the most important thing for safe holiday celebrations is to make flexible plans—if cases in your area get too high, you’ll have to go all-virtual.

The coronavirus situation is very bad and getting worse. We all need to avoid, as much as we can, being indoors with people who are not from our households, but...
It's getting colder🥶
We're getting lonely😭
It's nice being outside and getting sun🌄
Moving around feels good🏃
