@singh_domi87960@Catholic_bro Do you believe the same thing for orthodox saints? Because the Catholic Church would say their miracles aren’t from God. There can only be one “true” church.
@Catholic_bro The orthodox make the same claim but both can’t be true. Demons can perform acts that can be called miracles. So you have no idea if it was from God or not.
@K1984b@HadesUndead Yeah I googled it and it was saying he had an adopted kid so I wasn’t sure. But there really isn’t a good explanation for that gap in his Christian life.
@HadesUndead@K1984b I am joking to an extent, but for someone who is a leader in young male Christian life’s he is leading a terrible example. This dude has been a devoted Christian his whole life but is living daily in sexual immorality. It’s a bad look.
@evic_vasil38765@olyre3@Acts17David Wouldn’t their bishop have to condone their actions and if they are in error publicly correct them? And his archbishop above him?
@EasternMilk@Michael__Garten@Rhology do that, same goes with sport, politics, money. These things can separate us from God. I believe faith in Jesus Christ will always be enough.
@EasternMilk@Michael__Garten@Rhology for the fallen man. When I read the gospels I think about Gods love for us. I quite honestly never think about saints, I think of Paul and his righteousness as a man and it makes me want to be better. But I never spend one second of prayer thinking about a saint over my creator
@EasternMilk@Michael__Garten@Rhology So that’s what I’m getting at, people couldn’t stop there human desire to praise an idol, just like they did with the golden calf. So wouldn’t it be better not to have icons at all and just pray to the saints. And again could you answer why it would be bad to have a 3D icon?
