Join us as Rachel Cueny defends her Ph.D. thesis research on May 30! @rachel_cueny's research in @kecklabuw focused on the roles of G-quadruplexes in bacteria. Learn more: https://t.co/tvFKoEH3PV
Join us on May 17 as Sarah McMillan defends her Ph.D. research! McMillan's research in the @kecklabuw investigated how a molecule that kicks off DNA replication in bacteria is loaded onto DNA. Learn more: https://t.co/w6ngWA7iwv
Our manuscript "Evaluating Scalable Supervised Learning for Synthesize-on-Demand Chemical Libraries" has been published https://t.co/1MPUouFRHa

@FASEB #HNASRC#Helicase23 is a wrap. Had a great time connecting with old friends, meeting some great new folks, and learning loads about RNA and DNA helicases. What a great turnout and lineup! Looking forward to #Helicase25!
A successful week at the 2023 FASEB Helicases and Nucleic Acid-based Machines meeting in MA! Congrats to Alex Duckworth and Haley Deorio for winning a best-poster award! Also pictured are Sarah, Haley and Alex enjoying some Boston cannolis and taking boat day to a whole new level
In a new study published in @NatureComms, @kecklabuw and @GrantCryoEMLab revealed a switch-like mechanism that allows bacterial #proteins act to like emergency first responders, repairing broken DNA on the fly.

Just published in Nature Comm, a 3.2 A structure of PriA-PriB in complex with a replication fork. Such an exciting story to be a part of! @kecklabuw@alex_zhc@SarahMcMillan05@GrantCryoEMLab

I love it when proteins move a lot! In our just published structure of DNA replication restart proteins PriA/B + replication fork (https://t.co/Umyd2vD7mK) we see one domain swing almost 90° upon DNA binding, turns out this is important. Awesome collaboration with @kecklabuw.
