A BusinessWorld investigation based on internal government minutes raises disturbing questions about the IDBI Bank sale to Fairfax for ₹52878 cr Fairfax initial bid of ₹75 per share was below the confidential reserve price of ₹94.42 govt changed rules!

Selling off PSBs without logic isn't a solution to fix anything. A profit making institution is sold in pennies despite it's clear turnaround shows how desperate this govt is in selling national assets for money!
An easy example:
An addict sells their house property for money?

[Raghuram G Rajan parody @raghuramrrajann]

2/First-round bids fell short of a ₹94.42 reserve. Both parties declined to match. Instead of widening the field or pausing, a revised sealed offer from Fairfax was opened on 13 July. The same day the old floor was discarded and fresh valuations under new parameters were ordered

[Raghuram G Rajan parody @raghuramrrajann]

1/ The IDBI Bank strategic sale raises serious questions about process integrity in the disposal of public assets. An internal DIPAM note, reported across outlets, describes a sequence that should concern anyone who cares about transparent valuation and fair competition.

[Congress @INCIndia]
