Memory Store (@memorydotstore) gives your team and AI agents a shared company brain.
Your team's knowledge & decisions are scattered across slack, emails, and people's heads. Memory Store turns them into a living wiki for your agents and teammates.
Congrats on the launch, @ishitajindal17 & @diwanksingh!

Streaming tech firm Plex held "Survivor"-themed corporate retreat for 120 full-remote staff in Honduras for $500k in 2017.
Could have been episode of "The Office":
◽️ hotel GM resigns 3 weeks before and says "I wish you the best with your retreat"
◽️ hotel head chef quits 3 days later
◽️ road to resort un-paved and towers with machine-gun toting guards en route
◽️food is crap and warned not to eat salad...Plex CEO wants veggies and eats salad, gets E.Coli on first day
◽️ Navy seal brought to run team through drills and it's a disaster because he'd never seen "such an unfit group"
◽️replacement chef had never served 100+ people and all chicken and beef comes out raw
◽️ resort fumigated every day to get rid of sand fleas
◽️ took 100+ employees to a remote island...~20 people stranded over night because 8-person propeller plane couldn't fly everyone back before dark (no light on runway on island)
A lot of people from trip still at company and Plex CEO Keith Valory says, "You get really close bonds on these trips. It’s like the life-sustaining force of the company."
$500,000!!!!!

here's my gripes about mcp as an implementer
- end users expect miracles from mcp and load in a bunch of them
- most mcp servers are garbage, crash a lot, and the llm never bothers calling them
- this whole "try sse and if it fails try streaming" is exactly why im so anti standardization when things are early, already a ton of bloat
- even if an mcp is good 99% of people won't know to configure it
- it's now on me to create some complex ui that helps people manage all their mcp tools
- companies felt pushed to offer mcp and have half assed implementations that users expect to work well
it really feels like the kind of product dev i hate - come up with some idealistic vision of an interconnected seamless future, create a spec out of it, everyone gets hyped and then all the real world product and business obstacles show up
@chaykak Great Spotify article! I'm sure someone mentioned it, but Apple Music subscriptions come with 'iTunes Match' where you can upload music to Apple Music and if its not in the catalog it will store (up to 100k songs I think) and make them available on every synced device
@Mike_Eagle yo I know factor is a sponsor, but I can't find a link anywhere and I tried to listen back thru some podcasts but couldn't find the ad, you should link sponsors somewhere! what's your https://t.co/vM14g7hz8j link so I can get you $ when signing up?
@MaxRovensky @Corruptedbirdie @DyianMcD8 Biggest 'problem' is that iMessage support on macOS dates back many years, they aren't updating say, Sierra, which has full support for iMessages still.
Here's the docs: https://t.co/C64ISPzo5B
And POC: https://t.co/ma4cUXtUmu the 'Special Notes' part is interesting.
@AirbnbHelp I have a safety issue where a guest in my airbnb cottage broke into my main home where I live and came inside. I am trying to get the guest removed and having difficulty getting a response from airbnb trust and safety team. Please help.
