You missed a few more:
- build to solve your own problems
- build alternatives to what people complain about
- build what people are looking for (in search etc.)

Though to be honest what I listed above are probably the more straightforward way to get first paying customers while "genuinely improving people’s lives."

Best of luck, that's a brave move and something I myself want to do someday.

Honest question: is coding 12 hours a day the best path for an entrepreneur? Shouldn't the focus be more on distribution and validation?

I love coding too but the more I think about it the more it makes sense to work on the latter as early as possible.

I'm doing exactly this except step 6. But I remember there were some DNS records there already. Not sure it has anything to do with the fact that all my domains are on Cloudflare too.

Here's a tip: in Gmail create a filter to never mark emails sent to the custom domain addresses as spam. You can remove it later when getting real spam.

I would add one more thing that is a result of your first 2 points: better performance. If you do 1 DO per user, the DO will be created right next to the user. Its a good way to actually use the edge.

For comparison, I used D1 for a toy project and it took like 10s during a cold start. Queries took longer too and were quite unpredictable.

@_mohansolo @pankajkumar_dev I don't experience performance issues but the UI often gets glitchy I can't see anything after a while. Only thing I can do then is restart it.
