Pharisees alive and well on X. So many people don’t understand grace, mercy, forgiveness, justification, sanctification and so many other biblical truths.
Sometimes keeping your inner thoughts to yourself is better than posting.
FLASHBACK (9/9/2019): Allie Beth Stuckey reflects on her time in college, including a lengthy period of drinking and partying. There are quite a few things to note here.
First, there is zero mention of academics. For Allie, college was about making friends and possibly finding a husband. In 35 minutes of speaking about this, she never says that she should have focused more on school.
Second, she blames her partying phase on a difficult breakup and really doesn’t take any responsibility for the debauchery she was involved in. It sounds very similar to modern women wanting to find themselves after being tied down by a serious relationship.
Third, while Stuckey denies sleeping around in high school, there was no such denial regarding her college years. Such an omission is quite suspicious.
Finally, Allie adopts the same “God fixes everything for promiscuous women” attitude that has been playing on repeat this week, including from Allie herself. If indeed she had a promiscuous phase in college, that would no doubt inform her perspective on the Ashley Sheatz story.
What do you think?
@MatthewHartke What would say makes someone an expert in Christianity?
From this 83 second clip on evolution, what should give us concern about Mr. Huff being an expert on Christianity?
@RealCandaceO Bless your heart. I will go to church and hear the good news of the gospel. I will worship my savior with my fellow believers. We will lift our eyes to heaven together, remembering what a loving God we serve, and build each other up by resting in His promise that He will be w/us
@NancyRPearcey This is unreal. This is unjust. May this wrong be undone quickly on appeal and the judge be impeached for this lunacy. Jesus, have mercy on us.
Texas HC Vic Schaefer found out three student journalists drove 16 hours from Austin to Greenville for the SEC WBB Tournament.
The coach told them to add him as a reference on their resumes:
"When it comes time to get a job, you put me on your resume."
