@crostipunctus I know it’s popular to bash our education system, and it isn't perfect, but turning to a phone to escape the classroom doesn't solve the issue.

I'm not sure what his “rationale” for not wanting women in the public sphere is, but he could take the biblical advice of:

And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and
not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:29

I was raised to believe that a person would be cast into a lake of fire and be tortured for eternity if they didn’t ask to be saved by Jesus.

Once I got older, I realized that an all-knowing, all-powerful, all-good god would not do such a thing. It makes no sense to create humans with the knowledge that billions or trillions would end up in hell. Most humans are not that cruel.

After a few years, I decided that the concept of God and religion was invented in our past to explain our world and provide comfort. I moved on.
