I introduced the No Immunity for Glyphosate Act.
Thank you @chelliepingree, @RepBoebert, @RepNancyMace, @RepRoKhanna for sponsoring.
If we’re Making America Healthy Again, government shouldn't be promoting glyphosate and providing liability immunity for corporations making it.
The herbicide Glyphosate is one of the likely culprits in America’s chronic disease epidemic. Much more widely used here than in Europe. Shockingly, much of our exposure comes from its use as a desiccant on wheat, not as an herbicide. From there it goes straight into our bodies. My USDA will ban that practice.
This week I will introduce the “No Immunity for Glyphosate Act” to undo the recent Executive Order which promotes glyphosate (Round-Up) and insulates manufacturers from liability. #MAHA
Big Chem and Big Food are trying to slip a draconian free speech law into the upcoming Florida Farm Bill.
It would allow companies to sue people for speaking out about pesticides and food products.
Dr. Eric Berg explains what’s happening:
“There’s a bill moving through Florida that could make it very risky to criticize sugar and other ultra-processed ingredients.”
“Big Food is asking for legal protection so we can’t talk about it anymore.”
“This has nothing to do with whether the information is false or true. It has everything to do with shutting down the opposition.”
“They want to take the word ‘perishable’ out of the law.”
“If they remove this, it would apply to all agricultural products.”
“If you talk negatively about this, you could end up in a lawsuit.”
“Even if it’s true, they could still sue you.”
“And if you lose, you have to pay their attorney’s fees.”
“That’s their strategy… Most people won’t be able to afford to fight that battle.”
@dr_ericberg
They are banning American bison from what’s left of the prairie. It’s the most un-American thing ever. The bison is America’s national animal, and fewer than 0.1% of them remain. Waging war on bison is the most un-American thing ever. Shame on the GOP.
Federal law says new cars after 2026 must monitor drivers and shut down if the car disapproves. Your dashboard should not be judge, jury, and executioner.
@RepScottPerry@RepChipRoy offered an amendment to defund the automobile kill switch mandate. Here’s our debate:
🚨 “You’re giving government a tool that can destroy the cattle industry.” @RepHageman
The USDA’s 2024 RFID tag rule took effect Nov 5—letting D.C. track every herd, fence, and pasture “like Denmark.”
MCOOL protects producers.
EID is tyranny on a chip.
To avoid a repeat of last night’s shellacking in the 2026 midterms, Republicans should:
quit covering for pedophiles
put America before Israel
put farmers before corporations
quit funding wars abroad
reduce spending to control inflation
quit attacking independent voices
In 1970, cattle ranchers earned 70¢ of every consumer beef dollar.
Today, they get just 30¢.
Where did the other 40 cents go? Straight into the pockets of JBS, Tyson, Cargill, and National Beef.
The Big Four are robbing ranchers blind while consumers pay record prices. Both sides are getting screwed—except the monopolists in the middle.
Last night, @SchmittNYC & I discussed the President’s proposal to purchase more beef from Argentina.
The America First solution to rising beef prices is my bill, the PRIME Act.
It would empower 🇺🇸 farmers to sell 🥩 directly to consumers without 🌏 corporate middlemen.
Why do American ranchers always get screwed over?
Simple. They don’t have big money lobbyists fighting for them.
They don’t get subsidies. They aren’t even afforded country of origin labeling on their products.
The meatpackers, on the other hand, have some of the most powerful lobbyists in the world.
The American ranchers who just want to work hard and put out a great product to feed Americans are always the ones screwed over.
I had a dream last night that I was building a local beef processing facility to sell at scale to my local community. I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.
As it is now, there are thousands of head of cattle in my county. The vast majority are shipped by 18-wheelers to the Midwest, fed out, then processed and shipped back to us as a part of the national supply chain.
I know we could produce a much better product at a competitive price by keeping everything close to home. It’s just a huge endeavor that would require investment and some help from the administration. But it is possible.
RFK Jr: Within five years, satellites belonging to Bill Gates "will be able to look at every square inch of the planet 24 hours a day."
"They're putting in 5G to harvest our data and control our behavior. Digital currency that will allow them to punish us from a distance and cut off our food supply."
"It will make you a slave."
Dear @SecRollins Why aren't you offering American Cattle Farmers grants to build processing facilities?
We want you to use targeted grant funding that produces results versus handing money over to Farmers in general.
We want you to pivot away from global to America first or we want @realDonaldTrump to replace you with someone who will.
🚨 While Trump’s cutting deals to buy Argentine beef, American ranchers can’t even sell their own.
In New Hampshire, there’s a 2-year waitlist just to process cattle — and federal law makes it illegal to sell local beef without a USDA stamp.
🚨 Buying Argentina beef to “lower prices” is a band-aid that buries the American rancher.
Family farmers are finally clawing back to breakeven after years of losses.
Don’t let the White House hand corporate packers another win!
Support MCOOL & the PRIME Act! @RepThomasMassie
We’ve noticed that members of Congress have been introducing legislation during the government shutdown
Where is the new Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling (MCOOL) Bill that was supposed to be reintroduced?
Enough of the lip service, we want action NOW
🚨“President Trump’s plan to buy beef from Argentina is a betrayal of the American rancher.”
Washington bureaucrats are on the brink of delivering a crushing betrayal of our farmers—and the America First agenda.
America’s soybean market just CRASHED after China stopped buying our soybeans.
Now, our cattle ranchers are on the brink of the same fate.
Illinois cattle rancher and Farm Action’s Senior Director of Programs Christian Lovell warned that a new plan to buy Argentinian beef would amount to a “betrayal” of loyal America First ranchers—and would fail to solve any of our problems:
“Importing Argentinian beef would send U.S. cattle prices plummeting—and with the meatpacking industry as consolidated as it is, consumers may not see lower beef prices either.”
Just four major meatpackers control roughly 85% of our market.
The system is RIGGED, and importing beef from Argentina into this rigged system will not lower costs for families or restore fair markets for producers.
This announcement comes right after Argentina took hold of the soybean market after China stopped buying from American farmers.
And what is Washington doing?
Considering another $20 billion BAILOUT for Argentina.

The US should not be in a position that requires us to import Argentinian beef to meet at home demand!
Longstanding policies have led to the loss of nearly 700,000 independent cattle ranches since the 1970s
This is a national security issue and we need aggressive policy action to ensure our domestic cattle industry is not only rebuilt but is also sufficiently decentralized to withstand whatever may come!
Beef prices are at record highs in the US , this is in part due to a huge contraction of our domestic beef supply secondary to prolonged drought and also long term poor policies.
The answer is not to just bring in more cheap beef from South America
The answer is to put policies in place to ensure we build back our domestic herd and enact policies that preferentially help our American beef producers!
We need a robust, decentralized strategic beef reserve!
