A 26 year old in Tallinn makes $11,840 a month off five computers that cost $23 a month to run.
They are five M4 Mac minis in a tower on his desk. Each one has a sticker on it — 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 — written in marker so he knows which node dropped when one does.
A pink dumbbell sits on the shelf above them. A can of compressed air on the windowsill. The whole stack hums quieter than the mini fridge.
The five Macs are clustered with EXO into one machine. Nothing he runs ever touches a cloud.
A Llama 70B runs local on MLX and does the reading work first
It ingests a raw 90,000 word manuscript, cleans the formatting, splits the chapters, marks every line of dialogue with the emotion it should be read in, and writes the chapter descriptions the faceless channels paste straight under the upload.
Then an open voice model on the same stack narrates it in one locked voice that never gets tired, never asks for a re-record, never raises its day rate. A local model masters the audio last.
He sells the finished audiobooks to indie authors and faceless YouTube channels who can't afford a studio and won't wait three weeks for one.
The stack renders 40 hours of clean narration a month while he sleeps.
pause at 0:09 — the KUMAN meter plugged in on the left.
Five machines running a 70B model and a voice model at full load.
It reads 180 watts. A single gaming PC idles higher than that.$11,840 in. $23 a month out in electricity. The hardware paid for itself in week one.
His girlfriend asked why the power bill didn't move after he built it. He told her it can't — the things barely draw.
She asked what they cost. He told her. She asked why he didn't build ten.
A studio has a narrator, a booth, and a power bill. He has a 70B model, a voice that does not exist, and a meter that reads 180 watts.
experiment with a memory system that keeps rewriting itself:
a hopfield network remembers an alphabet. as memories decay, it begins to hallucinate glyphs it was never taught - forgetting becomes a way of inventing.
@xLanceBryantx@theo@me_jd_solanki Mix of how it started, the theft it's based on, and the widespread backlash from artists that made it toxic to discuss if you had artist friends at all because they'd flip out.
Apple's AI researchers have embraced a kind of anti-LLM cynic ethos, publishing multiple papers trying to argue that reasoning LLMs are somehow limited/cannot generalize.
Apple also has the worst AI products (Siri, Apple Intlligence).
No idea what their "strategy" is here
If you are a content creator aged 30+ and you are not a millionaire
You are ruining your life
Content creators need to understand that earning enough to only "get by" is going to ruin them long term.
Everyday you spend at your computer streaming making barely enough to order doordash and make ends meet and pay rent
You are sacrificing time you could be building a legitimate career and furthering your education
You are essentially delaying the inevitable and you will most likely be working customer service at age 35 until you die once you retire
Too many content creators are spending EVERYTHING that they're earning not investing not saving ASSUMING that this amount of income will be here forever
It won't be forever
No one is forever
The average profitable lifespan of a content creator is 2-3 years
This does NOT take into account how many years of start up it took to get there as well as the burn out period once it all fades away
If you are not saving, if you are not investing, if you are not being careful with your money
You are going to be left with nothing
Your skills at video games and reacting to videos on the internet serve NO PURPOSE and will not be transferable to any respectable job 99.9% of the time
I encourage ANY and ALL CC's to be more careful with their money, to understand their lifespan as a content creator and prepare for the future before the future is now
Because Content creators are the new pro athletes and pro athletes are notorious for ruining their lives off of their short term success and short term careers and not knowing where to go when everything is said and done
If anyone wants to talk about sponsors, investing and preparing for the future
Feel free to hit me up
I've been making content for nearly 7 years now and I love helping other CC's prepare for the future
I know alot of people may not like hearing this but i'd rather say this and make you upset, then see another person end up poor jobless and miserable when their career fizzles out.
(also the market is falling rapidly right now and investing is pretty peak rn ngl)
🧩 Built an MCP that lets Claude talk directly to Blender. It helps you create beautiful 3D scenes using just prompts!
Here’s a demo of me creating a “low-poly dragon guarding treasure” scene in just a few sentences👇
Returning to X to shine a light on what the Alien Enemies Act looks like IRL. Our @ImmDef client fled Venezuela last year & came to US to seek asylum. He has a strong claim. He was detained at entry because ICE alleged his tattoos are gang related. They are absolutely not. 🧵
@IBenWronged@Pirat_Nation A lot. UE does an insane amount a tweet can't https://t.co/arkgitxQK0 doesn't delay a product by a year production cycles don't work like that. These decisions are made much earlier on. You seem to be very focused on graphics that wasn't even in the top 20 reasons for switching.
@IBenWronged@Pirat_Nation Engine usage is domain knowledge. There will be a ramp up period if none of them have used Unreal Engine before. It took me around a year to move from Unity to UE 4.26
