@iannuttall@warpdotdev I think most people sleep on Warp and use it to access other CLI tools. I am guilty of this but itβs quite powerful on its own. It just gets drowned out in the CLI wars we seem to be in the midst of.
I don't naturally see what Atlassian gets by buying a browser company. It doesn't feel like a naturally complimentary acquisition.
I may be shortsighted however.
@greedymaximizer@AmpCode It's great but you pay for the greatness. If you've suffered slop with CC, amp is a great step up. Make sure to use it's oracle feature for planning then sit back.
@iannuttall They are shipping quickly so hopefully we see some quality of life improvements. I have to confess, I've cancelled Claude Max and switched but my loyalties change on a monthly basis!
@iannuttall It's definitely on the rise and coming in fast. Putting it on high mode actually feels a nice experience and the IDE integration works well. Overall positive work from Codex team imo!
@gregisenberg In the AI world we live in, we cry out for authenticity and connection. Nostalgia and connection for historical brands needs to be preserved.

GPT5 may have just been pandering to the hordes whilst having time to sandbag and get on with the next generation of LLM in peace.
