I read about the loss of my friend in the Sun newspaper many weeks after the loss of HILTON 22. We knew something in an Ops Area had happened and lives were lost when flags were half mast - I never knew it was a friend!

@paul_tremelling I had the pleasure to serve on 1(F) Sqn whilst Kris was there - top guy, and would always, ALWAYS, stop to chat after handing his flying kit back in.
Same could be said during Afghan our tours....
A sad and tragic loss of one of Britains unsung heroes of the skies....

@HEMS_Driver @YorkshireAirAmb And having a helmet that fits, especially with NVG’s on, is key to removing the distractions and discomfort.
KSE have a wealth of experience on fitting for NVG use, after all, it is what we did for the UK military for many, many, years!!
