@MaartenVHemelen@EM_RESUS@jminardi21 Decided on systemic thrombolytics-repeat echo in about 30 min after TNKase showed no clot (and patient remained stable, so likely the clot just got lysed). Patient did well in the hospital and was eventually discharged on AC.
@acweyand I waited over a month with abdominal pain before finding out my AST/ALT were >1000 and I had biliary dyskinesia, had my gallbladder out that evening😳
Echo is one of the more skilled ultrasound exams you can do. Having learnt it and now teaching it, I see the same mistakes being made over and over again. I have put together thread on beginner mistakes in echo. #tweetorial#POCUS#FUSIC#askpocus
Reminiscing about that time my now-husband thought the little yellow balls of butter on the table at our wedding were matzah balls and popped an entire one in his mouth and couldn’t figure out what he was eating. What a day🙄
@averagemoneymd@olsonplanner I think for ultrasound this depends-there are definitely opportunities for US directors in non-academic centers or newer residency programs in hybrid or community centers.
Halloween special: A middle aged male presented with abdominal pain. An echocardiogram was done that showed this finding. What is the clinical finding/diagnosis? @drnhassanpour#Medtwitter
