This post focuses on two issues. The first is how the advent of generative AI changes the authoring, revising, and remixing of OER. The second is how generative AI makes possible new kinds of OER that I call "generative OER." In describing generative OER I specifically discuss openly licensed prompts and openly licensed model weights, together with a discussion of what revise and remix mean in these new contexts and why they continue to be important.
