Anti-AI artists have held the gaming industry hostage for years, forcing their woke agenda on players with support from the far left. In my view, games like The Last of Us Part II show exactly the direction I’m talking about. They’ve damaged the industry, and their online “SLOP” cancel culture spreads like cancer.
Anyone who disagrees with their views on AI, even Elon Musk and Tim Sweeney, is suddenly “unskilled,” “not an artist,” or someone who “doesn’t understand craftsmanship.”
Guess what, now we have AI, we can create what we want without being held hostage by these same people.
Boycott whatever you want. Say people using this technology can’t create, aren’t artists, or don’t understand art. Blah, blah, blah. All of it is background noise. We’ll keep building, and time will prove the point.
Real gamers don’t give a fuck if you use AI. They want to play a game that is FUN.
only snowflakes on the internet care about that. This ain’t for the weak.
i use ai daily. in all forms of my projects from content to dev. people are misinformed and that sucks to see with so much easily verifiable information available.
More devs need to speak up like Micah and stop letting the online “AI slop” mob intimidate them into silence.
The more creators stand openly behind their work, the less power these boycott campaigns have. This culture won’t change if everyone stays quiet.
The games we've long wanted, which didn't exist because they'd cost several times more to make than they'd earn back, will soon become possible. As will the games developers wanted to build, but couldn't with the resources available. It'll be a new golden age of gaming.
all bigger gaming companies care about is metrics, and i hate this culture. there is no soul, no spirit, ill support indie devs til i physically cant. people are worth far more than some follower number on some platform.

We're launching our first official Hytale modding contest with $100,000 in total prizes!
But this isn't just a contest. This is the start of something much bigger.
My vision for Hytale has always been that modders should be celebrated, not sidelined. The people who pour their creativity into pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the game deserve to be front and center. They deserve to be rewarded. Think of it like esports, but for modders. We want to build an ecosystem where talent rises to the top, where the community recognizes and elevates the people making incredible things. This contest is the first step. There will be many more.
For this first contest, we chose World Gen V2 and NPC as two of our three categories very intentionally. These are areas where we know extraordinary talent exists, and honestly, we're scouting. If you blow us away, don't be surprised if we reach out. We want the best modders in the world working alongside us.
And looking ahead: over the coming months, we'll be rolling out more modding tools, an in-game mod browser, and a lot more. We're also thinking deeply about how players can directly reward the modders they love, without turning the game into a shopping mall. It should be fair for players and meaningful for creators.
This is just the beginning.

Gemini 3 Deep Think generated a real-time 3D WiFi radar that maps every network around you as glowing nodes in a Matrix-style space — in one shot. It used Pearson correlation to infer which APs are physically close, since RSSI alone isn't enough.
