Update: We have been cleared and authorized to proceed with a $36 million federal lawsuit against Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@OfficialABAT) and Ambassador Femi Fani-Kayode in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. The suit arises from threats to kidnap and physically harm Dr. Von Batten, made by Ambassador Fani-Kayode as part of an organized criminal conspiracy involving the Nigerian Presidency.
As to President #Tinubu, this case will test the limits of the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act and head-of-state immunity while Tinubu remains President. The complaint will proceed under applicable D.C. tort law, the FSIA, the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA), and the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), including 28 U.S.C. § 1605B and 18 U.S.C. §§ 2331 and 2333. Section 1605B addresses specified international-terrorism claims against foreign states, while § 2333 provides a civil remedy to U.S. nationals who satisfy its statutory requirements.
After filing next week, we will engage with U.S., U.K., and E.U. immigration authorities regarding the alleged extrajudicial threats and whether Ambassador Fani-Kayode’s travel or visa status warrants review. U.S. law provides terrorism-related grounds of inadmissibility under INA § 212(a)(3)(B), 8 U.S.C. § 1182(a)(3)(B), and authority for visa revocation under INA § 221(i), 8 U.S.C. § 1201(i). Any determination will be for the appropriate authorities.

During the Republican National Midterm Convention, Dr. Von Batten briefed members of Congress and senior state government officials, including strong defenders of American #liberty such as Virginia’s @RepJohnMcGuire and Indiana's @SOSDiegoMorales, about @FBI and @DEAHQ allegations that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@officialABAT) was part of a criminal organization that smuggled heroin from Nigeria into the United States during the 1980s and 1990s.
#Virginia members of Congress and Indiana state officials are critical because, according to court records, #Tinubu’s group smuggled their poison (heroin) from Nigeria into Chicago and #Indiana, and Tinubu allegedly laundered the drug proceeds through multiple banks, including banks in #Virginia.
We have a message for President Bola #Tinubu and his enablers. We are coming for you. As cowardly 9/11 terrorists and their enablers found out, time is irrelevant. Those who harm Americans cannot outrun American justice. The war against Nigerian #NarcoTerrorists has no expiration date.

We have received many messages from concerned #Nigerians informing us that certain senior members of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s (@officialABAT) government allegedly own properties, assets, and homes in the United States and Europe that do not correspond with their reported government salaries. We have also been informed that some of these individuals may hold U.S. permanent resident status but have allegedly failed to pay required U.S. federal income taxes.
These are allegations, and we have seen no physical evidence to corroborate these claims. This is why the firm is putting together a team to examine the allegations. If our findings support the allegations, we will bring our findings to our friends in Congress and the @realDonaldTrump Administration, particularly @USTreasury, @IRSnews, and @USCIS. This assignment will be undertaken pro bono under our U.S. Interests Program.
U.S. law is clear on foreign government corruption. Under 18 U.S.C. §§ 1956 and 1957, stolen or embezzled foreign public funds can trigger federal money-laundering laws when qualifying transactions occur in the United States. The Global Magnitsky Act also authorizes sanctions against foreign officials involved in significant corruption, including the misappropriation of public assets for personal gain and transferring the proceeds of corruption abroad.

“Why are you blocking the road? You didn’t hear when the commissioner of police said no police officer should block the road anymore for any reason? What’s your name? What’s your rank?”
CP Rivers State Police command confronts police officers on the highway blocking the road
Rivers State Commissioner of Police has been actively stepping out on inspection tours of checkpoints and highways.
Earlier today, CP Adepoju led a team on a statewide monitoring exercise along major routes, including the East-West Road corridor (Ikwerre and Emohua LGAs) and areas near the Rivers-Imo boundary.
He was accompanied by senior officers: Deputy CP (State CID), Assistant CP (Operations), Mobile Police Squadron Commanders, tactical unit heads, and Divisional Police Officers (DPOs).
The Purpose of the Operation is to Enforce the Inspector-General of Police (IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu) directive against:
1. Unauthorized roadblocks that obstruct traffic.
2. Extortion of motorists.
3. Officers not properly dressed or without visible name tags.
4. Officers must carry out stop-and-search professionally without blocking roads.
He personally ordered the dismantling of illegal roadblocks encountered during the tour.
Compliance was noted as improving due to ongoing monitoring.
