a ésta hermana la han arrestado más veces por defender la humanidad que a los pederastas que siguen en cargos políticos aprobando que bombardeén civiles, realmente vivimos en el infierno
An entire article—which just repeats Israeli talking points—fails to mention that 3 other people were killed in the attack, including two CHILDREN.
“Israel says” is NOT journalism.
Dear Zohran,
I wouldn't be writing this if it weren't urgent, but I know your team probably has eyes on me, and the chances of this being seen by you are high.
Zohran, you have a platform that reaches millions. You have access to the President of the United States. Use it.
Publicly call on Trump to demand the release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, Marwan Barghouti, and every Palestinian political prisoner. Publicly uplift the campaign action items so the world mobilizes around them.
You and I have disagreed. You and your team knows that well. Today, none of that matters. More than 10,000 Palestinians are being held in israeli torture dungeons. Their families are fighting to save them before they’re tortured to death.
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya's children are fighting to save their father. Marwan Barghouti's children have spent years fighting for theirs. They don't need a meaningless statement of solidarity. They need people with influence to act.
If you say you're pro-Palestine, then prove it. Use your platform. Make the call. Demand their freedom. Mobilize the world for every Palestinian prisoners liberation. The campaign materials and action items exist, share them far and wide.
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya has been detained by the Israeli government for more than 18 months without charge or trial. He ran one of the few remaining hospitals in Gaza.
According to his attorney and human rights organizations, he has been subjected to torture and severe medical neglect while in detention. This is unconscionable and a violation of international law.
Healthcare workers should never be targeted or arbitrarily detained. The Trump Administration must use every diplomatic tool available to secure Dr. Abu Safiya's release and ensure that Israel upholds its obligations under international humanitarian law.
A few days ago, Dr Hussam Abu Safiyeh (@dr.hussam73) said these words to his lawyer: “This is the last time you will see me...they brought me here to kill me. I don't see myself surviving. This is the end”.

Today we issued an emergency appeal to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, asking him to secure the immediate and unconditional release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a prominent Palestinian pediatrician who is facing an imminent threat to his life while in Israeli detention. https://t.co/bqMIq7O8lv
Physicians for Human Rights Israel has warned that Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, is now in immediate danger of being killed in Israeli occupation custody. His lawyer, Nasser Odeh, who visited him on 2 July at the underground Rakefet interrogation facility inside Nitzan Prison, said he barely recognized him. Dr. Abu Safiya was brought in shackled hand and foot, flanked by masked guards, his head, eyes, ears and neck covered in fresh injuries. He struggled to breathe and speak, could not sit upright without nearly collapsing, and seemed close to losing consciousness, too frightened to speak freely.
He told his lawyer that after his Supreme Court appeal was heard in June, guards entered his solitary cell and beat him with a hammer and batons, and that since his transfer to Rakefet on 24 June he has been beaten daily to the point of repeatedly losing consciousness, with no medical care. He said plainly: this is the last time you will see me, they brought me here to kill me. Held since December 2024 under the occupation's "Unlawful Combatants" law, without charge or trial, Dr. Abu Safiya saw his beatings escalate sharply only after he legally challenged his detention, and both his lawyer and PHRI are demanding his immediate transfer, an independent medical examination and his release, warning that any delay could cost him his life.

This is extremely disturbing that the security forces, which cannot fight militants and maintain security, resort to killing and dumping innocent and disappeared persons, then branding them as terrorists.
Last night, following a deadly bombing in Jiwani, five people were extra judicially killed and dumped. Among them was Abdul Haq, an educator and school principal who was forcibly disappeared in January 2026. For months, fake promises and assurances were made to his family by government not to go public because he would be released.
Abdul Haq was the uncle of Ali Haider, who in 2013 marched on foot from Karachi to Islamabad for his missing father, Mohammad Ramazan, who was disappeared on the Makran Coastal Highway in July 2010. In 16 years, the state did not bring back Ali Haider’s father, but instead killed and dumped his uncle Abdul Haq, who had the responsibility of raising and taking care of Mohammad Ramazan’s children.
The shelter over Ali Haider’s head has been snatched away once again today. Ali Haider grew up with the grief of his father’s disappearance. Now, as a young man, he has to spend the rest of his youth grieving for his uncle. When he becomes an older man, he will probably have to grieve for another family member.
Killing and dumping peaceful people and branding them as terrorists will not contain a rebellion. It will only fuel it further.
