Your potential, the absolute best you’re capable of—that’s the metric to measure yourself against. Your standards are. Winning is not enough. People can get lucky and win. People can be assholes and win. Anyone can win. But not everyone is the best possible version of themselves.

1) Sleep 7-9 hours/night
2) Strength train 3-6x/week
3) Eat to <25 BMI, <100 blood sugar
4) Focus to <1 hour of distraction/day
5) Bond with 1 partner + 3-6 true friends
Leading yourself is the foundation to leading others.
Ask yourself "Is this in my control?" Return to this question daily—in each and every trying situation. Journal and reflect on it constantly. If you can focus on making clear what parts of your day are within your control and what parts are not you will have a distinct advantage.

When you get out of your head & objectively analyze what your choices are, you realize many “choices” you are currently obsessed about aren’t really decisions to make at all: they are just things you have to do to accomplish your already decided-on goal
So don’t worry about them
