@on_lothianbuses ok the ghost bus and delays have been going on for ages I avoid the busses because of it.The rare times I try to take one they either don’t turn up, are massively delayed or… and this is a record for you. They take over double the time it would take me to cycle
@GThomson431@on_lothianbuses@Edinburgh_CC Even simpler… I just don’t bother anymore and I’m sadly not the only one. That won’t help as more people will drive because they can’t rely on the bus which causes more congestion and longer delays so more people then don’t bother and it’s a vicious cycle.
@GThomson431@on_lothianbuses@Edinburgh_CC … out on drivers and CS who don’t make the decisions. It’s a crappy situation for everyone that has been going on for a very long time and it doesn’t need to.
@GThomson431@on_lothianbuses@Edinburgh_CC This is why I’ve said is it’s a long term issue so why not revise the schedule to reflect road works/consistent delays. Stubbornly continuing with a timetable that cannot be met and having busses that just disappear results in frustrations being taken…
@on_lothianbuses Example - left an hour early this week to take a 30 minute journey. I arrived 25 minutes late. If I’d gone by the timetable I would of been an hour late… for a 30 minute journey. That’s beyond a joke
@on_lothianbuses If this is a daily issue for months on end why not revise the timetable? I genuinely cannot remember the last time I took a bus that was on schedule or even turned up. Ghost busses are 1 in 3 for me. I can’t trust you to get me somewhere in time.
