@AndrewSteinwold I think the biggest hurdle for most people isn’t “Do you want to spend money on this thing and NOT own it” - it’s “Do you want this thing we own for FREE?”

When “it” is digitial, it’s easy to to hide “you’re selling your soul” behind “it’s free,” and most don’t seem to care.

@SalomonCrypto @ethereum From this POV, it’s a bit unclear why the internet economy is a separate “third economy.” From the examples you gave (WoW and Aave), wouldn’t the internet just be an invention that 1) alters the definition of the “real” economy and 2) streamlines the financial economy?
