@AtlantaGator13 You are exactly correct, that’s the thing people ignore. Better bet, at least for next year, is don’t count on them and hope they play better. Strider I think will move to bullpen. Riley I would put at 3B and in 7 spot, and go from there.
@dylanxshort I’m not saying they didn’t screw that part up, their read on his defensive potential was clearly wrong. Braves still had Trav, so didn’t really have somewhere for Bill to play, esp knowing you couldn’t trade Marcell and he was gonna have to DH.
@TheAthleticFC I don’t even know how to respond to this. It is wrong on so many levels, it’s amazing someone who knows the game would actually post it. It reeks of someone grasping at straws for why the decision was made, instead of just admitting the refs got it completely wrong
@StatsSAC@HammerTerritory Today has been esp frustrating cuz Nola’s gameplay is simple: keep the ball away. And yet we try to yank everything, leading to lots of weak grounders and pop-ups, like Ozzie above
@ShortStopBall It’s all about volume and touches. 1st option on a bad team will almost always be a better fantasy player than third option on a good team, even if the latter is a better player overall.
@BeaneaterB@2030Phils I think everyone can agree the rule needs to be rewritten. But also, I still think the runner should be out at least. Part of the rule is you are out when you “give up” trying to get to the bag, and I think that would apply here since it’s clear his main goal is no longer that
@RileyDaGoat_ I agree on Tellez. One other thing to consider with Clohisy is the potential lockout. Guys on the 40 can’t play, but if you aren’t yet then you can still play in the minor leagues. I don’t think he’s on it yet, so that has to be part of the calculation
