Very productive meeting w/@MartaKosEU discussing new opportunities to further deepen 🇦🇲-🇪🇺 partnership as we just adopted the new Strategic agenda.
Appreciated all the efforts towards supporting Armenia in its path of strengthening democracy, economy & better connectivity.
Looking forward to hosting the first-ever ARM-EU summit in Yerevan in May next year!
Productive meeting w/my counterpart @larsloekke in Copenhagen.
Democratic development is at the core of 🇦🇲-🇩🇰, ARM-#NB8, ARM-#EU partnership.
✍️ Singed MoU to advance our bilateral coop with concrete projects across key areas of mutual interest, including through business ties.
Accompanied PM @NikolPashinyan during his visits to #Brussels & #Paris: partnerships become stronger for more resilient #Armenia, deeper cooperation & peaceful future.
🇦🇲🤝🇪🇺🇧🇪🇫🇷
There is an aggressor: Russia.
There is a victim: Ukraine.
We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago—and to keep doing so.
By “we,” I mean the Americans, the Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese, and many others.
Thank you to all who have helped and continue to do so. And respect to those who have been fighting since the beginning—because they are fighting for their dignity, their independence, their children, and the security of Europe.
🇦🇲-🇺🇸 relations have matured to a point where upgrading them to #strategic partnership is not only fitting but essential for navigating the complex geopolitical landscape.
Let the #Armenia - #U.S. Strategic Partnership Charter we signed with @SecBlinken serve as a testament to the deepening relations btw Armenia & the US & as a roadmap for a future filled with shared achievements.
In his annual interview with AZ state media, Aliyev discussed "Western Azerbaijan." Two years ago, he promised to focus on it after NK was "solved."
Now that NK is has been ethnically cleansed, he's demanding Pashinyan receive a "Western AZ community" delegation.
Azerbaijan's dictatorial leader, Ilham Aliyev, has the audacity to accuse Armenia of being "a fascist state." He seems to be using that as an excuse for more military action. https://t.co/V1uLbZ5ScV
After taking part in the protest outside the UN office in Yerevan under the slogan “Stop Greenwashing Genocide,” Greta Thunberg attended a masterclass at Tumanyan’s Art to learn how to prepare Jingalov Hats, a traditional dish from Artsakh.
This symbolic gesture underscores her dedication not only to environmental justice but also to standing with communities facing injustice.
Gaya from 301 joined Greta, sharing this unique experience.
Climate Activist Greta Thunberg Calls On International Community To Pressure Baku To Free Armenian 🇦🇲 Prisoners, Criticizes Azerbaijan’s Hosting Of COP29 Due To Fossil Fuel Reliance & Authoritarianism

#GretaThunberg is in #Yerevan, Armenia, where she recently joined a panel discussion at the American University of Armenia (AUA).
Thunberg declined to attend COP29 in Azerbaijan, calling out Azerbaijan’s actions against Armenians and its role as a petrostate.
She highlighted the need for the international community to use its influence to help free Armenian hostages and political prisoners held in Baku. “It is really up to the international community now to raise awareness about this and to speak out and do everything in their power to end their complicity and to demand freedom, justice, and the immediate release of all prisoners of war, hostages, and political prisoners in Azerbaijan.”
Greta’s words challenge global leaders to take action for justice.
Meaningful activism matters. @GretaThunberg not only boycotted the petro-aggressor hosting #COP29 but also visited Armenia to meet with—and learn from—Azerbaijan’s victims forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.

Today, #AUA hosted internationally renowned climate justice activist #GretaThunberg. As part of her visit, Thunberg met with AUA President Dr. Bruce Boghosian and participated in a panel session.
